WHAT IS EUPHORIC NATION?

Don Ortega and Justin Zanish are the hosts of Trance Paradise, a weekly trance radio show on AH.FM since 2010 — 700+ episodes and counting. As Euphoric Nation, the two also produce and DJ, with releases on Anjunabeats and AVA Recordings.

Their 2021 single “Stranger” (with Michael Fearon, featuring Lya Adams) appeared on Anjunabeats Rising Volume 10 and premiered on Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy radio show (ABGT 454). AVA Recordings has become a recurring home for their productions: “Golden Light” featuring Eric Lumiere (2020), “Lost At Sea” with Michael Fearon featuring Theresia (2020), and “Loving Memories” with Chantry Smith (2025), alongside earlier releases on Above All and OHM Music. Other tracks include “Destiny” featuring Spencer Lloyd (2017), “Sparks Fly” featuring Marisha Mae (2018), “Edge of Tomorrow” (2019), “Avenoir” (2020), and “Dark Sky” (2022).

Live, Euphoric Nation opened for Above & Beyond’s NYE show at The Armory in Minneapolis in 2017, and returned to open Gareth Emery’s Laserface there in October 2019, on a bill with Tritonal and Dimibo.

Based in Minneapolis, they’re still hosting Trance Paradise every week and still making records.
